RIW System - Main Dashboard Explained


This article will provide the basic information to navigate around the RIW System Main Dashboard.


Note: Each RIW System User Role (i.e. Employer Admin, Project Admin, Authorised Health Professional etc.) will have access to or see different functions available to their permissions.



This instruction applies to the following RIW System User Roles: 

  • Advanced Project Admin
  • Assessor
  • Employer Admin
  • Employer Admin - No Payment
  • Employer Admin - Read Only
  • Helpdesk
  • Medical Provider User
  • myRIW User (i.e.. RIW cardholder)
  • Network Manager
  • Network Manager - Read Only
  • Project Admin
  • Site Admin
  • Training Provider User


Step 1: Log in to the RIW System

Go to https://app.riw.net.au and login using your credentials. 


Step 2: Tabs




The tabs, highlighted by the red box above, are the menus or lists that an RIW System User are able to access. Each tab represents a main area of the system that an RIW System User can edit or view.


Step 3: Dashboard shortcuts




A dashboard shortcut allows an RIW System User to access functionality of the system from the main dashboard without further navigation.  Most of the functions that have dashboard shortcuts can also be found a tab.


Most, but not all functionality that is represented by a dashboard shortcut can be found under a tab.


Step 4: Approval shortcuts with alerts



Approval shortcuts with alerts display actions or items that are pending to be actioned by an RIW System User or a cardholder, which appears as a blue number next to the item that requires attention. This provides information on actions that may need to be followed up or corrected.
